Synagogue B'nai Israel Photo Galley

Use and Submission Guidelines.

Photo submissions may be sent as an e-mail attachment to . Be sure to include a description of the events pictured (I.E. “Purim party 2012”). Please include the name of the photographer. If you didn't take the pictures, include a statement that you have the photographer's permission to post them.

All submissions are reviewed by the gallery administrator prior to posting.

By submitting content, you represent that you have read and accept the Terms & Conditions and the Content Guidelines.

Photograph submissions are accepted in good faith. To request removal of an image, send an e-mail to with a description of the photo and the reason for the removal request.

Content Guidelines

Photos should be in .jpg format and at least 500 pixels in the longest dimension. Up to 1600 pixels is allowed.

Photos should depict Synagogue activities. Feel free to include captions for your images. While not required, they provide context for your images. Captions may be edited or removed by the gallery administrator.

In your e-mail, We recommend obtaining parental consent before submitting recognizable photos of minor children who are not your own.

Terms and Conditions

Copyright for the photographs displayed in the Gallery rests with the original photographer. Photographs displayed on the gallery may not be copied from the gallery. The original photographer is free to post his or her own images on other sites, provided the image file is not copied from the Gallery.

By submitting content you grant to Synagogue B'nai Israel a perpetual, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use the images, the names and likenesses of any individuals that appear in the photographs, and you agree that the image may be used on any page of the website.

The Gallery is a public website. The photograph displayed therein can be viewed by the public, and may be subject to indexing by search engines. Synagogue B'nai Israel assumes no responsibility for the use or indexing of the images on external sites.

Photographs displayed in the Gallery or on the website are stored on the host servers. The Gallery is not hosted on an external photo sharing site.

The Gallery is intended to promote and positively reflect on the Synagogue, its members and activities, and the Jewish community as a whole. You agree that you will not submit materials that are unlawful, pornographic, libelous, defamatory, tortious, obscene, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, or that otherwise violate general community standards.
